NCSFA Sketch and Paint Out - Lake Wohlford
Today was the North County Society of Fine Arts Sketch and Paint Out at Lake Wohlford.
We met at a turnout. A dangerous turn out. Some people left for another location.
Maybe it was because of the skunk tail or the crackers and cereal all over the place.
Well, that's OK we all met later for lunch and a little show and tell. Mine is the tiniest painting in the center.

SDWS Paint Out - Spreckles Park, Coronado
Yesterday the San Diego Watercolor Society Paint Out was at Spreckles Park in Coronado . It's kind of a plain park with a beautiful old gazebo.
The best part was listening to these older ladies having a blast behind me. Four older women playing paddle ball, frisbee and tossing that velcro ball that sticks on a velcro paddle, laughing, and giggling as they tossed to each other.
Most of the artists painted the gazebo or trees but I painted a few houses on C Avenue and 6th Street. Here are some pics:

The artist's paintings. Mine is the double, second from the right.
Jim is an artist I admire. This is his piece in progress. He was painting the gazebo and library in the background.
A sketch of Jim painting.

NCSFA Sketch and Paint Out - Private Garden

private garden in Escondido, California.
A nice couple lent us their property for the morning and
about 6 ladies from the North County Society of Fine Arts
took pictures and painted.

There was a lot to see in different parts of the 4 acres
that surrounded their home;
including cottages, a fairy garden,
a few waterfalls, ponds, fish and tons of flowers and plants.

Children's Pool Beach, La Jolla
Children's Beach in La Jolla was originally designed as a safe
place for children to wade, but is now a haven for sunbathing seals.
There were only about 20 today with lots of pelicans and birds.
