I have been experiencing a lot of trouble with my camera lately so when I met my husband at Seaport Village all I got was this very short video of Santa sweeping. It turns out I had a bad box of batteries. I didn't discover this until many many battery changes. I sketched a ship too but it was so cold I didn't sketch more than this:

that's OK. It was a fun morning anyway.

The core four met at the Marston House in San Diego for a weekday sketchcraw. These are my sketches:

The front of a shirt I painted.

The peace sign is painted with fabric paint and a paint brush. The black is done with a sharpie and the yellow around the peace sign is a spray fabric paint.

Stephen Sloan gave me one of his zines on stamp carving. The booklet is hand-stitched.

This is a "how to" of carving and also features a gallery of his carved portraits. He has been featured in rubber stamp maddness, eraser carvers quarterly and moonlight chronicles.

He taught the "reconstructed journal" class I took in september.
