Making Mosaic Turtles

Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center



These sketches were created at The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center. I went with a few friends on the Metro Link from San Diego to Santa Ana (an hour ride). It was an all day adventure due to 3 train delays. These were not mechanical Amtrak issues but caused by individuals.  This was a joint meetup with San Clemente and San Diego Urban Sketchers.

Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego

The Cemetery, the artists, their sketches and views of the harbor and Coronado Bridge.Fort Rosecrans is located on the grounds of the former Army coastal artillery station Fort Rosecrans and is administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. The cemetery is located approximately 10 miles west of Downtown San Diego, overlooking San Diego Bay and the city from one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
