Making Mosaic Turtles

A friend and I decorated some turtles with mosaic today. We will be putting on the grout next week.
Old dishes, 1 sunshine tile and concrete yard ornaments.

Mosaics

These are my latest mosaics. I worked on the dove this morning. I will grout these with black grout, paint the back and sides black and install hanging wire.

mosaic with kate O'Brien

This is a mosaic I did at Kate O'Brien's class at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas. It was sponsored by the San Dieguito Artist Guild. There is a short video of the other artist's work also.

 This mosaic was not created with tile. It was created with glass and not I haven't put grout on it yet. The size is 12 x 12 inches (wood).

Day 2 of the Mosaic Workshop

The last day of the Mosaic workshop given by Gwen Pellecchia and the Ramona Art Guild this weekend. I made 2 turtles and the others made turtles, mirrors, a tray and a birdbath.
