Yesterday I got a ticket from Rachel and a little book from Stephen. The book was part of his booklet a day project. It's an 8 page book folded from one sheet of paper. Cool beans.

I found a new group close to home! We do the same pose for the 3 hour session. Alternating between clothed and nude every other week. It was a great group.

After work I stopped by the market and was excited to see the wiener mobile! I even got a whistle and had a stranger take my picture. I suppose I was so happy because it brought back fond memories. When I was a little girl it came to one of our local strip malls and we got to go inside. I think there was a little person dressed in a chefs outfit also .... or maybe I dreamt it. Who knows.

Life Drawing - PRIVATE SESSION PLEASE KEEP OUT

Some models don't mind if you take pictures of them. Some don't mind if you take videos and post them on the world wide web. I think the model we had today would mind.

We had several strangers walk into the life drawing room at the recreation center today. They were having another class or meeting in one of the other rooms so I am not sure if the visitors came in by accident or not. The model was getting quite irritated and I don't blame her. I finally put a sign on the door nicely asking people to KEEP OUT.

I am not going to let everyone see her. I am only posting her shoes:

Desert Garden in Balboa Park, Part 2

We went back to the Desert Garden in Balboa Park because some of the artists couldn't make it last week. I made a video of the group sketching and some of the cactus flowers. You can view it here or on my youtube channel, Zipchips.

The San Diego Art Institute - Museum of the Living Artists is currently showing the
Southern California Regional Award Exhibit so me and Kathyrn took advantage of FREE Tuesdays to check it out and take a picture for Allison's Jumping in Art Museums Blog.

Butterfly Exhibit at Wild Animal Park

The Butterfly Exhibit is in full swing at San Diego's Wild Animal Park. I took a short video and went back to sketch but there really wasn't anyplace to sit so I sketched the Gorillas instead.

I stopped at the san diego zoo on the way to life drawing today. I got to sketch this lizard and later a fabulous model.
