Help find Chelsea King. Please visit Chelsea King's facebook fan page for information on how to help. She was last seen on the afternoon of February 25, running in Rancho Bernardo Community Park. She was wearing running clothes, is about 5'5", weighs 115 pounds, and has strawberry blonde hair. Officials suspect she was abducted.

Free Tuesdays

Today was Free Tuesdays at Balboa Park so my husband and I went for a visit to the San Diego Art Institute and the Mingei International Museum. While we were there I had him take pictures of me for the Jumping in Art Museums blog.

I had a hard time getting off the ground....

Dan Adams was one of the solo shows at the San Diego Art Institute and I was excited to get to see another one of his shows. He had many pieces with people in them this time but I especially like his goopy oil paintings of dogs.

Yesterday I was on the 3rd floor of the mall sketching some people on the first floor. Usually people notice me staring at them. I kept wondering if this couple would "feel" me looking at them and look up at me. They sure did. It happens every time.

oLD gLobe theatre balboa park

This morning I met with friends at the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park, San Diego CA. Stephen, RAchel, Sara and Dominique were there. This is the video showing our sketches and some booklets Stephen gave us. He made the booklets and decorated them with eraser stamps he carved. He also made some bamboo pens with a friend of his and he gave us each one of those too!

These are 2 new atc/aceos I created while working in my studio this week. I have a lot of pre cut paper I purchased from Lisa at "Collage Stuff.com" that I haven't used yet so I have been playing around with some of the "stuff".

If you like making ATCs you will like her shop. She ships promptly after your order is placed, has good communication and almost always sends a little extra surprise in the package. Her blog is "Lisa's Collage Stuff" and the website is CollageStuff.com.

"Pass it on"

Cloth Paper Scissors magazine has a call for entries for a reader swap. The theme is "pass it on" Mail Art Affirmations.

All you have to do is make a 4x6 postcard, take a picture of the entry and mail both in. The deadline is March 1, 2010 and around the end of April they will send you one of the pieces submitted. The fee is $5.
