That is sad. You never know if giving them money helps or hurts. My daughter errs on the side of giving to the person and I tend to give to a charity that might help them. Whatever, it's sad there isn't a place where every person could call home. My dad had hoped the Naval Training Center would have become that place when they closed it down but the real estate was too rich for the homeless even if the barracks could have housed so many.
