I couldn't find Nancy's article about you? Seemed to only go back to 2007...Are you working July 11? I think we will meet that day. There is another drawing group up here that meets on Sundays. Judy says its a nice set up $10 not as well lit as her studio so you get some good shadows. I finished the pendants I made for the transenDance group. Overfired a load the 28th and worked 8 hours straight to complete and fire them the 29th. I didn't take time to get good photos of them. Went to the last performance the 30th so they got them!
You seem not to like it? From my ignorant (since I don't kwow what you wanted to obtain!) point of view, it's great. The tortoise is too cute and the red coloring is very beautiful!
I think it's a very "cool" tortoise painting.
I would be pleased with effort - very tortoisey, I think :)
