Betty Bendixon Park
I did this sketch at the North County Society of Fine Arts Paint out. I think will sketch on location more. Since I have been working out of the home more, I have sketched or painted from photos because I think I am too busy to go out. I don't like that. I used to only paint from photos when I was learning to paint and now I find it very unfullfilling.

My birthday dinner
This is just a sketch while waiting for out bill at dinner. It's done in a watercolor moleskine but I had glued tissue paper from my friend Eileen. A gift sent to me that I opened first thing in the morning! I always write a jingle for my age, that's why there are so many little poems on the page.

dance rehearsal sketches
My figure drawing group got invited by one of the models to sketch at her dance rehearsal. She is director of this group: http://tdarts.org/
This was done in conte and watercolor background in a watercolor moleskine. The dancers were warming up.
This is all the same girl I sketched her in walnut ink with a Lamy Safari then used a water brush to create tints.
