Whenever I go sketching with
Stephen and Rachel, Stephen brings sketchbooks he MAKES HIMSELF! I finally got to go to a class of his held at
Studio Maureen and the Next Door Gallery. The class was called the "Reconstructed Journal". 6 of us attended and the journals we got to bring home were simply beautiful.
If you have never been to Studio Maureen, I highly recommend a visit. The studio includes a shop filled with wonderful handmade items, such as, ceramic art, jewelry, paper goods, glassware, clothing and irresistible garden art and folk art from Mexico.
