This is my EDM Challenge number 126. Draw a sponge. It was done in my Moleskine with pencil and watercolor.

Nice sponge! I like the curled shape and color. I don't use sponges either. I heard that they harbor tons of germs and you can't get them clean - so they just spread more germs around when used. I'm with you on the rags and washclothes!

Really nice job. I love the entire mood of this - the funky lettering, the outline of the sketch, plus the colouring itself. Very cool. Cheers! Mary Ellen

I like this So much. If ever a spinge had personality, this one does. You've made it look as if it could tell a few stories anout its life.

I avoid sponges too. They seem to leave things less clean than before. I use those handi wipe things and disposable cleaning wipes. Maybe I should be asamed , maybe I'm environmentally evil, but if I'm gonna clean, I want clean.

Yes, I have to agree with everything said above. The third dimension is awsome! as well as the lettering style and the color. Great!

Excellent job on the shadows! It really looks curled up.

Nice work! That shadow is perfect! And your choice of colors is wonderful, too.
