Everyday matters Challenge #79 is draw an ear, or two or three.I took a reference picture of my ear with my cell phone camera. I was pretty disappointed when I saw my ear. It's not what I expected. It was very ugly with a long lobe and a squarish top. I can't compare how it looks to other peoples ears cuz I don't like to look at other's ears. I'm afraid I will see wax and that would really gross me out.
Usually my hair covers my ear.
My sister has very tiny ears.
Do you hear me?

I have to agree that ears aren't the most attractive feature of our body(I think my ears are yuck to look at too) but you have done a great sketch nonetheless. Well done!
I like ears - well some of them - anyway, that is an excellent ear, very well executed.

Hi Arty - nice ear! I enjoyed browsing through your blog today. You have such a nice collection of work. The animal/zoo drawings are very nice too. I posted another roadside attraction pic on my blog...a giant whale from Maui.
I had a good laugh at this post! I think seeing one's own ear is a bit like hearing your own voice on tape...it is never as you think it is! I can't say whether it is a beautiful ear to wear on your head, never gave ears that much thought,(and I'm definitely not going to have a look at mine!) but as a drawing I love it!!
