30x30 Direct Watercolor - #18 and 19 - Lake Wohlford

 My second gathering with Inland Painters took place at Lake Wohlford, Escondido, California. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. when it was windy and cold. At noon the sun came out and warmed us up but most of us were packing it up at that time. I am glad the painters choose locations with limited amounts of people. The only people there were us painters and a few families fishing by the shore.

Lake Wohlford is located in Escondido, California. This piece was painted on location in oil and comes unframed. It's 5 x 7 inches painted on a Reeves Artist Canvas board. Medium Grain 100% cotton. It is listed on eBay with a starting bid of $60.

NCSFA Sketch and Paint Out - Lake Wohlford

Today was the North County Society of Fine Arts Sketch and Paint Out at Lake Wohlford.
We met at a turnout. A dangerous turn out. Some people left for another location.

Maybe it was because of the skunk tail or the crackers and cereal all over the place.

Well, that's OK we all met later for lunch and a little show and tell. Mine is the tiniest painting in the center.
