Moleskine cahier
The moleskinecahier is a black, nice looking, light weight book but the paper can hardly handle drawing media without bleeding through to the other side.
Why don't you go for the sketchbook version, or the watercolor? Or, I found this great tutorial where you can put your favorite paper into the daily diary...

I have to agree. The cahier has cachet but not much more. Why are we continually seduced?
