Today was the paint out with the North County Society of Fine Arts in Torrey Pines, La Jolla. I had never been there and once again was in awe of the BEAUTY in my back yard. . . well in the same county... here is a link to my you tube video and my piece.

Today I met Brie for lunch and coffee in La Jolla. She's a cool gal to know and I wanted to say goodbye before she leaves for a nine month semester in France.

Annoying things at the doctor's office

I see more and more dogs in public places. Last weekend there was a HUGE dog in Best Buy. Today at the doctor's office I saw 3 little dogs in a stroller. 2 dogs sitting in the stroller seat and one on top of the stroller. All 3 in the Doctor's office!

Something was wrong with my cable so I couldn't upload my video of the San Diego Watercolor Society Paint out today. Here are a few pics I took with my still camera and a journal entry. If you haven't been up to the Mt Soledad memorial I suggest you go. The view ALL Around this monument is breathtaking!

After work I went to Border's because I was hot and tired and Gary said he didn't have the air conditioner on. While ordering a cup of coffee the Barista said there wasn't enough for a full cup and offered to make me a new cup. I wrote about it in my journal but left out a bunch of stuff including the top part of my body. I guess I really was tired!
