EDM Challenge #4 - Draw a mug or a cup
This is my current favorite mug.
When I went to Arizona I bought everyone in my family a little souvenir.
I found the perfect gift for myself at this little shop on the way home.
I know it's a messy drawing. I don't use an eraser.
This habit has helped me to not care
about being a perfectionist with my sketching.
"It's just a sketch"

Fear of Flying (or EDM Challenge #70)
I am afraid of flying. VERY afraid. That's why I didn't sign up for the BIG training seminar in Dallas, Texas. My manager was kind enough to sign me up so. . . up . . . up . . . and away . . . I went. I calmed my nerves by drawing. My doc also gave me a pill to calm me down during the flight. This is evidenced in panel 5 of my cartoon journal.

Thin, Crinkly, Sketchbook Paper
North County Society of Fine Arts Sketch and Paint Out
Wow, there were 4 people at the paint out today!
It was fun painting, drawing and talking art with the group!
The weather at the winery was perfect in every way.
We sketched and painted in the patio,
checked out the new shops and walked around the loop.

BIG FAT Pencil
I met a kid in Texas that turned me on to my current favorite pencil.
It's called the Koh-I-Noor Hardmuth Magic.
It's called the Koh-I-Noor Hardmuth Magic.
It's a big, fat, fun pencil.
If you haven't used one yet, I suggest you give it a try.
